The camp grounds are usually operational after the weekend of the 4th of July through Labor Day weekend every year. The snow pack and weather conditions may change the opening or closing dates. Please check this site frequently during the year for updated information on the opening of the camp grounds. The grounds have occasionally been opened late June, but as in all high Sierra Camp sites, the weather will play an important role in determining the opening and closing.
