Just a short walk (approximately 3 miles) up the road you will find Lake Sterling that will provide an all day experience of swimming, fishing,  boating and kayaking.  Many outfitters will provide the equipment needed for your lake activities. Check with you local phone listing. The walk to Lake Sterling is recommended for the moderate enthusiast as the elevation is just over 7000 feet.
