The keynote speaker this year is Small Farm Journal author and publisher Lynn Miller. Lynn spoke at the 2008 Small Farm Progress Days in Auburn. He is an ardent supporter of small farms and will make you think.

Lynn has been heavily involved in the establishment of a Small Farm Conservancy. The conservancy's proposed programs are in sync with many of the ongoing efforts here in Placer and Nevada Counties.

Lynn's keynote speech will touch on a variety of topics relevant to small farms. He will conduct a follow-up workshop after his keynote speech.

The Conference will again feature 25-30 workshops, with lunch prepared by the Lincoln Future Farmers of America (FFA), and a trade show. The opportunity to meet and network with other farmers/ranchers and related agricultural organizations will be as valuable as the educational content; register now!
