2008 Woodchuck Flat 4-H Summer Camp Information.....
How is Camp Organized:
Camp is supervised by adults, one adult to each ten campers. Lead by two adult Camp Directors, one Junior Camp Director and a Junior Camp Staff of twelve Tribe Leaders. Tribe Leaders are older 4-H members that have been to camp before and are experienced leaders.
Campers will be divided into six tribes, of all ages. Tribe Leaders will be sleeping in each tent. Our entire staff is volunteer and we look forward to providing a productive and rewarding camp experience for your children.
2008 Adventures:
Each camper will receive a T-shirt and group camp picture.
Monday: Campers will be arriving before lunch, have a special program in the afternoon, take a group picture, hand crank ice-cream for dinner, get acquainted and craft time with a camp fire after dinnner. campfire
Tuesday and Wednesday: Campers will rotate through six sessions with three tribes participating in the ropes course and the other three tribes doing archery. The next day they will switch featured sessions. The remaining sessions will be fun hands-on learning sessions. Evenings will feature star gazing, campfires, and a talent show.

Saturday: Campers and Staff prepare to return home, friendship circle and write in each others camp books and have brunch.
Saturday BRUNCH: Parents are welcome to join us for Brunch (the cost is $5.00) at 10:00 on Saturday. You must registar and pay at time you campers application is turned in.

Meals and Snacks Provided:
The first meal is lunch on the first day. Each day thereafter includes three good home cooked meals plus healthy snacks available at all times. Please let us know of any dietary needs. Also, leave snacks and candy home as they are an attraction for the local varmints.
Last meal is brunch on the last day. Parents are invited for Last Day Brunch but pre-register and pay $5.00 when enrolling children for camp.
Any donations of fresh vegetables and fruit, especially melons, would be greatly appreciated. Please call the 4-H office at (530) 889-7386
